My Background and Approach
My therapeutic foundation is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), but I go beyond this to integrate techniques from various approaches tailored to each client's unique needs. I prioritize a client-centered approach, emphasizing emotional awareness and exploration. While I acknowledge the significant role our past plays in shaping our psychological identity, I believe true healing occurs in the present. Additionally, I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which effectively addresses trauma and other mental health concerns. I also draw from exposure narrative therapy, existentialism, and psychodynamic therapy to provide a comprehensive, holistic healing experience.
