I support clients who have a wide range of dynamics in their close relationships, either with friends, family, work or romantic partners as well as those who are experiencing a lack of closeness. I believe that the roles and patterns that we play in relationships develop for a good reason, and that having awareness of them can offer us increased freedom, creativity and resilience in how respond in our relationships with others.

My psychodynamic training and experience supports my clients to get to the root of the challenges they face in their close relationships and develop the tools and capacities to free themselves from their past patterns. I have completed an advanced 3 year training program in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy from the San Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis and I continue to train and consult weekly with two late career psychoanalysts.

I believe in the wisdom of the body, and support my clients to pay close attention to their present moment bodily experience during therapy sessions. We utilize the body as a resource for bearing feelings, understanding dilemmas and finding creative choices to live more fully. I have trained in embodied approaches to trauma both at the California Institute of Integral Studies Somatics Psychology department and through Sensory Motor Psychotherapy where I completed one year of intensive training.
