Are you always a little bit afraid that an anxiety attack is waiting around the corner? Have you been hit with surprise anxiety more times than you can count? I know exactly what you're feeling: the pounding chest, the shortness of breath, the feeling that the walls are closing in and you need out NOW. Attacks can be terrifying, and I don't want you to have to suffer them anymore. Holistic practices can reduce anxiety tremendously, and I look forward to teaching you tools to take your life back.
Being human is often tough. Sometimes we lose our way and can feel stuck and overwhelmed. Sometimes we would like to change parts of our lives or ourselves but don’t know how. Therapy can be an empowering way to promote healing, growth, and wellness. Often, we initially seek treatment to address a specific concern and then begin to uncover other areas of our lives in which we want to make meaningful change. My goal is for this process to feel supportive, affirming, and appropriately challenging.

Over these last 7 years, I’ve honed my skills in a variety of clinical settings, working with individuals of diverse racial, gender and sexual identities. I specialize in supporting the LGBTQ+ community, individuals exploring their sexuality and gender expression, and those seeking to understand and support their loved ones on similar journeys. I also often work with neurodivergent folks living with things like ADHD and autism who are working on executive and social functioning.
Feeling anxious, depressed, stressed, and/or othered? Are you struggling to find a therapist who really understands the intersections of your identity as a Black or Brown individual? Or a person in a close relationship with an individual with a marginalized identity? You deserve a therapist who looks like you and sees you for who you truly are. I'm here to be that therapist for you.
We're here for clients of all ages, backgrounds, and identities. Even though we're all unique in personality, life situations, and environments, our minds share a lot in common. So, whatever you're dealing with, we're likely able to lend a hand! Our approach gets that people are complex, and your therapist will really get you as a whole person. By tackling things from the inside out, big improvements are totally on the horizon!
I work with adult individuals, couples, and adult groups (think: adult child and parent, adult siblings, friends, etc). I do not work with teens or children. My typical clients are interested in working through issues, invested in their growth, and are open to exploring deeper issues of life and what it means to be them. I am strongly relational in my work with clients, providing feedback, insight, and guidance in a nonjudgmental way.
