Mental Health Practitioner,I want to create a safe relationship where clients feel they can reveal sides of themselves that they may not have shown even to themselves.
Find therapists in Madelia. Therapists that list their practice on TherapyDen agree to be inclusive and welcoming of all genders, races, countries of origin, sexual orientations, body sizes, religions, and abilities. Therapists promise, to the best of their abilities, to create a safe place for anyone and everyone that seeks services.
The therapists, counselors, social workers and psychologists below treat common issues such as depression, anxiety, loss, relationship issues and trauma. Performing an advanced search will allow you to filter for therapists that have specialized experience and training in more modern areas such as non-monogamy, body-positivity, racial justice, queer-competency and more.

On the surface, things may seem to be going well, but really you’ve felt anxious and down for a long time. Work, relationships, and responsibilities keep piling up, and you don’t know how to keep going. Each day feels like a battle and you realize that something needs to change. If this sounds like you, I am here to help.

“What do they think of me? Am I making the right decisions? Am I failing in life?” If these thoughts sound familiar to you, you are in the right place. Many of my clients tell me they are making it through their days, but their worry and stress make it almost impossible to just enjoy the moment and relax. They worry so much that it can keep them up at night and it is making things difficult in their relationships.
Being human is often tough. Sometimes we lose our way and can feel stuck and overwhelmed. Sometimes we would like to change parts of our lives or ourselves but don’t know how. Therapy can be an empowering way to promote healing, growth, and wellness. Often, we initially seek treatment to address a specific concern and then begin to uncover other areas of our lives in which we want to make meaningful change. My goal is for this process to feel supportive, affirming, and appropriately challenging.

I work with individuals navigating transitions throughout early, emerging, and mid-adulthood. My clients are often facing challenges with perfectionism, stress, avoidance, depressed mood, feelings of guilt, worry, shame, anxiety, grief/loss, maternal mental health, and navigating the world as a highly sensitive person. I work best with motivated clients who are ready to engage actively in the therapy process and work towards uncovering their most authentic and meaningful life.
I work exclusively with law enforcement, first responders, veterans and their families. My clients come to work on issues like anxiety, trauma, work stress, home stress, and everything in between. My couples clients come to me to heal from betrayal, the impact of trauma on the relationship, or to improve communication and connectedness. If you have tried talk therapy without success, or if you are skeptical about the whole therapy thing, consider giving me a try. I like a challenge.
If you are looking for direct, no-nonsense style we are probably a good fit. I work with people experiencing anxiety, sleep problems, men's issues, relationship problems, and/or sexual concerns. My work is solution-focused, leaning more into present day concerns than early life experiences. If you are seeking therapy because you recognize a need for change, and are looking to implement a plan to make that change happen, I may be able to help.
