About My Clients

Have you been wondering if this step is “actually” needed? Probably and that’s okay. It’s natural to be cautious with new experiences. I’d like to invite you to take a deep breath and provide you with reassurance, this is a brave step!

My Background and Approach

Let’s talk about what you can find in this space. In our work together, you will explore your internal and external resources as we dive into your life experiences. For instance, have you ever wondered why expressing your needs can be difficult? Or found yourself thinking, "People always leave” or “I may be too much or not enough”? This space is designed to explore these avenues. For the past 4-5 years, my practice has focused on helping people reconnect to their “core” self, in order for the individual to gain empowerment and confidence. We will address how events/relationships in your life have impacted your brain chemistry and influenced internal narrative about yourself/others. We’ll practice skills that will improve your somatic (body) and emotional language so you can learn how to quickly gain access to regulation. You’ll gain autonomy and resiliency for present and future events.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe it is never too late to grow. Having a posture of curiosity is an important ingredient in the receipt of growth and change. I believe one can build their capacity to navigate hard challenges, it just takes time and space to explore these internal resources. In safe and secure relationships, one can learn to trust and thrive. As the child of immigrant parents, I understand the complexities of societal prejudices, cultural expectations, and family of origin issues. This drives my passion in creating culturally-informed connections within the BIPOC and mental health communities. Additionally, I’m passionate in helping BIPOC individuals in the LGBTQ+ community process the inter complexities of both communities/identities. Outside of the office, I enjoy hikes, attending sports games, traveling, discussing my current show obsession, books, and spending quality time with friends and family.
