My Background and Approach
When humans experience severe trauma or stress-provoking events, it can often be difficult to know where to start. Since there is no single approach to creating that healthy balance, my expertise lies with guiding each person through the turmoil they may be experiencing and creating a treatment plan unique to their personality. I take an introspective and collaborative approach when it comes to clients. The therapeutic relationship is a joint venture, where the knowledge and skills combine to create the best possible solutions. By helping individuals construct boundaries and recognize personal needs, I hope to strengthen the perception of themselves and surrounding relationships. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, and adjustment issues by helping one develop coping skills designed specifically for them. My preferred niche could be described as a mixture of cognitive behavioral work, person-centered, and psychodynamic theory.
