About My Clients
Our world is filled with so many distractions, worries, fears, and means of disconnection, it can be easy to get off track from the life you are meant for and feel disconnected from yourself and the world. Feeling depressed, anxious, or experiencing imposter syndrome, burnout, or feelings of low self-worth? I believe in every person's inherent right and capacity to live a life of joy and authenticity, and I'd love to support you in rediscovering yourself and reclaiming your life!
My Background and Approach
I graduated with a Masters in Social Work from Tulane University in 2017. Since then, my experience as a therapist has encompassed work with LGBTQ+ community members, veterans, adolescents, individuals with a history of trauma, as well as those experiencing depression, anxiety, stress, overwhelm, boundary challenges, relationship and communication concerns, as well as self-esteem issues. I am certified in CBT, and have training in ACT, IFS, mindfulness, expressive arts therapy, somatics work, and ecotherapy. In addition to my training as a therapist, I am a certified yoga teacher with a background in trauma-informed practices. I have seen tremendous benefit in using all of these practices, both individually and collectively, as effective means toward healing.
My Values as a Therapist
I am oriented toward a feminist and social justice lens. Through my experience in ecotherapy, I know that through reconnection with the land, we can achieve personal and collective liberation. I also know that greatness resides within all of us, and that healing happens through connection and community.
