I have deep commitment to the transformative power of the human psyche. I offer a unique therapeutic approach that integrates the wisdom of Carl Jung’s analytical psychology with the powerful, evidence-based technique of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). With over 9 years of experience, I specialize in guiding individuals through their inner landscapes, helping them uncover and integrate the unconscious patterns and archetypes that influence their lives. My practice is rooted in the belief that within each of us lies the potential for profound growth and healing. By exploring the rich symbolism of dreams, active imagination, and the deep-seated narratives that shape your life, I work with you to bring these elements into conscious awareness. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I'm a cis queer white woman who was raised in a conservative Christian family in a rural environment, and my adult life has largely been about healing and unlearning from that. I intimately know the kind of pain and trauma that can come from being raised in a strict religious community, and especially the conflicted feelings that can come from embracing identities in queerness and sexual liberation. I also work as an activist and educator with Anti-Racist Trauma-Informed Care, www.ar-tic.org. In this space, I help other white folx grapple with whiteness and the particularly cultural programming that leads us to be harmful and perpetuate harm. Any system of power that doesn't serve everyone, really serves no one and needs to be dismantled.
