About My Clients
I work with individuals ages 13 and up as well as couples. I specialize in trauma, addictions, anxiety disorders, depression, grief and stress/life issues. I use EMDR therapy for trauma as well as cognitive behavioral therapy and internal family systems with clients. I am passionate about empowering clients to help themselves with skills and guidance. I have a practice of 6 other counselors who are able to take new clients and have different specialties.
My Background and Approach
I have been a counselor for 13 years and owned my practice for 10. I am licensed in both Missouri and Arizona and got into counseling after going through my own therapy and discovering that I wanted to pay it forward. I have a collaborative approach to counseling where I do not just ask "how does that make you feel?". Instead, I get to know my clients and form their treatment around their needs and goals for therapy. I want my clients to feel comfortable and accomplished in therapy.
