About My Clients
Through Therapy, Trauma-Informed Breathwork, & Coaching, I work collaboratively with clients who are struggling with navigating the ups, downs, and transitions in life. Some other areas may be: navigating relationships, family dynamics, divorce, or simply seeking personal growth. When you embody & cultivate a deeper connection to yourself, you are empowered to break through barriers & negative cycles, tap into your intuition & inner resources, uncover untapped resources, and overcome challenges.
My Background and Approach
I support clients throughout their personal journey to discover tools that resonate with them, explore their sense of self, uncover personal coping strategies, and develop new, healthy ways to express their emotions. As a Trauma-Informed Breathwork Facilitator & Somatic-Based Coach, I incorporate a blend of integrative techniques, which encompass Coaching, Breathwork, Shadow Work, TRE, & Social Neuroscience. I received my Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from Lewis & Clark Graduate School. I specialized in children, adolescents & adults using a variety of individual & group counseling modalities. My experience has been working with clients who have witnessed and/or experienced divorce, trauma, grief/loss, anxiety/depression, life transitions, self-esteem & self-worth issues. I have also worked with children & teens in shelter & residential treatment facilities, who were experiencing serious to severe emotional & behavioral difficulties.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I strongly believe in reducing the stigma around mental illness within the child, teen and young adult populations. So many of the young people in our communities are struggling with the stressors and high expectations of school, sports, college, their futures, etc. These high expectations and stressors can then lead to anxiety and depression, as well as dysregulated and disconnected relationships with families and peers. My passion is to help our young population navigate through their challenges and come out the other side with a strong sense of self worth, knowing they are able to get through the ups and downs they are experiencing as they put into practice the coping skills they have gained. A bit about me...I love spontaneous adventures & explorations with my family & friends, along with taking time out of life's daily responsibilities every so often to enjoy a mental health day together. Being a boy mom feeds & nourishes my soul as we navigate through this world together.
