About My Clients
As someone who identifies as queer and polyamorous, I understand what challenges come with these identities. When practicing polamory, we are often unprepared for the difficulties that arise when living in a mononormative society. Together we can navigate if you or you and your partner(s) find yourselves with insecure attachment styles impacting your your relationship(s), are having difficulty managing boundaries, or need help dismantling couple's privlege.
My Background and Approach
For well over ten years, I have worked in the mental health field. Some of my most satisfying work has happened when working with the communities that have accepted me without conditions and wish to bring that experience to you in your therapeutic journey. I have worked with people navigating resurfacing of old relationship wounds in current relationships, people experiencing prejudice based on their sexuality, gender, or ethnicity, folks questioning their gender identity, and everything in between in nearly every level of care. You deserve to feel accepted, valued, and back in charge of your own life. I will show you my enthusiasm when we celebrate your victories and will provide you with warmth and compassion during your toughest moments; you can always count on me to bring my authentic self to therapy. Therapy is a commitment and a relationship and I am excited to share this journey with you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am an active member in both the queer community through their music programs as well as in the polyamorous community. You may see me marching in pride parades or marching in protests for reproductive rights and for the Black community. I live and work in the city of Philadelphia and feel a strong connection to this place that I've called home; I consider it a privilege that I can help the people who I share space with in this big small city.
