About My Clients
I work with individuals facing trauma, challenges with self-esteem, relationships, and long term, social, and transition-based anxiety. I specialize in treating ADHD, OCD, and body-focused repetitive behaviors (hair pulling, skin picking, etc.). I provide a supportive environment for clients to practice skills designed to enhance personal, relational, and professional satisfaction.
My Background and Approach
My approach to counseling is evidence-based and client-centered. I hold the belief that every person is inherently good, lovable, capable, and resilient; thus, I draw upon the client’s perception and wisdom to inform the use of interventions. I believe in the importance of collaboration throughout the therapeutic process. My education includes a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Southern Utah University and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Antioch University Seattle. Additionally, I did a one year internship followed by a one year externship at Seattle Pacific University’s Counseling Center. I am a graduate of TLC’s Virtual Professional Training Institute for body focused repetitive behaviors. I am L1 trained in Lifespan Integration for trauma. I have extensive training and experience in treating ADHD from my work at the Hallowell Todaro ADHD Center. I regularly attend workshops and conferences on ADHD, OCD, and BFRB’s.
