About My Clients
I work with adults with depression, anxiety, managing neurodivergency, and unlearning of colonized mindsets. I especially love working with clients on developing healthier relationships with their partners, family, friends, and in the workplace. I also work with children, teens and families regarding school aged issues and a side of parenting coaching and mental health psychoeducation.
My Background and Approach
I am a mental health counselor associated licensed by the Washington State Department of Health. I strive for a practice that is client-driven, multicultural, and decolonized. My clients receive a personalized therapeutic experience that accounts for their lived experiences, cultural background, and their specific therapy goals. Through therapy, we work to reframe the client's "story" into one that makes them feel more empowered to live more authentically.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that all people are good at heart. Anne Frank said that, and I believe it to my core. Because of this, I hope to create a non-judgmental space for all, whether we share beliefs in politics, religion, social issues or if we don't. I am open to learning about and entertaining different perspectives and viewpoints. I view the therapeutic relationship as a partnership: you are the expert of your life and I am here to help you make sense of it.
