Services
About My Clients
Our mission is to provide more accessible services to underserved clients, particularly in the LGBTQIA+ community, folx with neurodivergence, racial and ethnic minorities, and for other underserved populations who lack access to in-person services, or lack access to counselors competent in these areas due to living in areas that are smaller, more rural, or more conservative. All appointments take place online through a secure video platform. Email contact is preferred for scheduling.
My Background and Approach
I run a group practice and am a board certified Licensed Professional Counselor with specific training in anxiety disorders, ADHD, Autism Spectrum, trauma, and addictions. My focus and passion is centered primarily around the LGBTQIA+ community; however, I work with individuals from all walks of life regardless of whether or not they consider themselves part of this community. I run this group practice. We are 100% telehealth and all of our counselors are dedicated to serving to the LGBTQIA+ community. Our practice also has special focus in serving others from underserved communities. Most of our counselors are somewhere under the LGBTQIA+ spectrum, Neurodivergence spectrum, or both! Those who are not part of these communities are strong allies and have knowledge and experience in working with those who are.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I have personal experience as a someone who has struggled to find my identity within the LGBTQIA+ Community. I presently identify as Asexual, Aromantic, and Agender. I have struggled with depressive symptoms and an anxiety disorder throughout my life, and was diagnosed later in my life with ADHD and Autism. I grew up in a Catholic household and attended a Christian college. As a result, I have understanding of Christian and Catholic theology and social norms/expectations. I studied theology in my undergraduate program with particular interest in East Asian Religions. My present belief system is Athiesm. I enjoy the study of theology, and work to better understand religious trauma, and the influence religion plays in a person's experience of cultural and societal norms. I hope that my experiences aid me in better understanding my clients and allow me to be a positive asset to my clients' journey to grow and heal.
