About My Clients
Do you feel anxious, sad, lonely, or isolated? Do you struggle with pain connected to racism, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, or one of the many ways we can be made to feel less than or not ourselves? As we build a relationship together, your thoughts, feelings, experiences, fears, and fantasies will be heard and treated with respect, curiosity, and care.
My Background and Approach
Our past experiences lay the groundwork for how we relate to the world outside and within us. Through careful exploration of your experience, we will actively co-create a therapy space that supports emotional growth and understanding, growth from trauma, a greater sense of choice in your relationships, and a more curious and flexible sense of self. You’ll find a gentle, affirming, and nonjudgmental space where we can better understand what brought you here and how you might move forward. My post-graduate studies include clinical training at the Washington School of Psychiatry, Institute of Contemporary Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis, and the Washington Baltimore Center for Psychoanalysis. The research is clear: patient-therapist fit is everything. I encourage you contact me for a free consultation.
