My clients tend to be super creative and intuitive but often struggle with confidence and self-esteem because due to deep processing, they're overwhelmed and feel less productive. They may also be called"quirky" or "too sensitive". They may be told something is wrong with them even though they have amazing gifts that the world silently depends on. They are overstimulated and have empathy overload.
Are you someone who is looking for help or support in your non-traditional relationship structure or sexuality? Are you struggling to feel seen or heard in these identities? As a relational therapist, I recognize that our connections with others are the basis of both the greatest struggles and the greatest rewards we can know. I desire to work with people who are seeking to flesh out their sense of identity and strengths, and through doing so, relate to others more authentically and skillfully.
I value assisting my clients in exploring how your memories impact the ability to deepen your connections to friends, family, society, and most importantly, yourself. My hope for you as a client is to feel validated to be your authentic self in all areas of your life, and to gain coping strategies that encourage self-reliance and taking steps towards embracing your truth.
I specialize in counseling adolescents, adults, and older adults from immigrant families, addressing a wide range of mental health issues and familial conflicts. My practice offers a safe environment for individuals, couples, and families to explore their emotions and develop coping skills. I provide personalized interventions and compassionate care, specializing in anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, substance use disorders, and co-occurring disorders.
Being human is often tough. Sometimes we lose our way and can feel stuck and overwhelmed. Sometimes we would like to change parts of our lives or ourselves but don’t know how. Therapy can be an empowering way to promote healing, growth, and wellness. Often, we initially seek treatment to address a specific concern and then begin to uncover other areas of our lives in which we want to make meaningful change. My goal is for this process to feel supportive, affirming, and appropriately challenging.

Are you going through a life transition and need support with managing all the changes going on in your life? That might be changes in school, work, family, parenting or relationships. Or even a quarter-life crisis spent navigating new and old relationships. I'm here to support you in processing these changes as well as recognizing your own strengths to draw from during periods of change. I believe that everyone needs someone to support them - and challenge them - to get through these times.
As I mentioned in my intro, I like to work in a partnership with my client. You are the expert of you and I am on your journey with you to get to your chosen direction. I have experience working with people of many different backgrounds (socioeconomic, race, gender). I very much look forward to meeting you, learning from you (remember, you are the expert of you), and our working together to help you go where you want to go.

I believe that when a person feels valued, supported and truly heard they can begin to forge a path that will lead them to self-fulfillments and deeper, more satisfying relationships with others. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression and mood disorders, as well as general lifestyle, career and relationship stress. Clients are involved in the dual process of creating intentions, and fostering change and growth. My style is psychodynamic, with a focus on empathy and connection.
Anxiety is relentless. It keeps you up at night, distracts you from the life in front of you, and robs you of your confidence. But that doesn't have to be the case. If you find yourself doubting yourself, worrying about what other people think of you, or obsessing over a decision, I get it. You don't want to be anxious, but you don't know how to stop it. You've probably found things that help temporarily - but you're ready for more than coping skills, you want real change. I'd love to help.
The majority of my professional career has been focused on BIPOC individuals, people on the LGBTQIA2+ spectrum, young people who were considered “at-risk” of high school drop-out, professionals, artists, and survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. I enjoy working with adults and adolescents alike.

Anxiety is exhausting and can feel completely overwhelming. I look forward to teaching you new skills that will lead to relief of these symptoms! OCD is an extreme form of anxiety, and there are tools that work including ERP therapy, mindulness and more. In addition, past unresolved traumatic memories are often the root of compulsive/obsessive thinking. EMDR therapy is a way out of this. I look forward to working together to find just the right tools for you.
I specialize in supporting people with marginalized sexualities and relationships, including kink/BDSM, polyamory, ethical non-monogamy, and general concerns with sex / sexual desire. I understand how strong the shame can be here; my main priority is making sure you feel deeply heard, understood, and accepted. Not just by me, but by all parts of yourself as well. My hope is to help clients fully integrate these parts, even (and especially) the hidden ones.
I provide trauma-focused individual and group therapy for adults. Typical concerns of the people I work with include managing the effects of traumatic experiences, relationship issues, intense emotions, and grief. Areas of special focus include supporting survivors of sexual violence and adults healing from the effects of child abuse and relational trauma in their families of origin including sexual abuse, incest, neglect, and intimate partner violence.
Becoming a parent can be a landmine. What is often billed as simple, linear, and seamless can be filled with complicated emotions, experiences, and a sense of overwhelm. I work with people on all points of the birthing path- whether you are just thinking about having a child, trying to conceive, are pregnant or postpartum . This includes people struggling with infertility, pregnancy and infant loss, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, and birth trauma, as well as partners and birth workers.
