I work with individuals and couples, especially those who identify as BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and neurodivergent, as well as anyone facing challenges with anxiety, depression, communication, life transitions, and more. Working as a postpartum doula for a decade has allowed me to work with couples and see first-hand the various dynamics present in marital, parental, and familial relationships. Therapy is all about bridging the gap between where you are now and where you want to be.
You and I will explore together the full expanse of who you are. What brings you alive? What do you want to understand? How you are bearing the world? How do you experience love and pain, growth and suffering? I work with adult individuals interested in the journey of healing-- in body, mind, and spirit. As we talk through what is going on in your life, we will harness your body's wisdom and the power of the nervous system to generate a greater sense of wholeness and freedom.
Trauma disconnects us from our authenticity. It is the root cause of compulsive behaviors, dissociation, and that inner, critical voice that tells us negative messages about ourselves. I believe that just talking about our experiences is unlikely to do the trick: to heal, we must feel. My goal is to empower you to heal the root cause of your compulsive thoughts/behaviors; to look beneath the soil, rather than just clip the leaves.
If you often find yourself caught in the cycle of “I’m just not good enough” or feel like your self-esteem is burdened by an endless loop of “Why can’t I get this right?” you’re certainly not alone. I’m here to help you turn those challenging thoughts into a celebration of your true worth. Life transitions, burnout, and anxiety can sometimes make it feel like you’re juggling flaming torches while running on empty.
Being human is often tough. Sometimes we lose our way and can feel stuck and overwhelmed. Sometimes we would like to change parts of our lives or ourselves but don’t know how. Therapy can be an empowering way to promote healing, growth, and wellness. Often, we initially seek treatment to address a specific concern and then begin to uncover other areas of our lives in which we want to make meaningful change. My goal is for this process to feel supportive, affirming, and appropriately challenging.

With over 7 years of experience in the field, I specialize in working with depression, anxiety, PTSD, suicidality, high-risk behaviors, harm reduction, crisis deescalation, and LGBTQ identity exploration. For the past couple of years, I’ve focused my practice on working as a suicide prevention therapist with youth and young adults. My approach is rooted in centering the individual, a structural analysis of the systems we struggle with daily, a sense of justice, empathy, and radical acceptance.
I work with clients who feel depressed, anxious, overwhelmed, or maybe they’re not even sure what they’re feeling but they know something’s deeply wrong or missing in their lives. Others are experiencing a bumpy transition or feel confused, stuck or unhappy about their relationships, their career, their future. We'll work together to help you access your innate strengths and understand, work through and change ways of being that no longer serve you to enhance your well-being and quality of life.
I specialize in working with adults and older adults who are experiencing depression, anxiety, and/or going through life transitions - whether that's career, relationship, or restarting your life. Having worked in the healthcare setting, I am well versed in working with healthcare professionals navigating burnout. I enjoy working with individuals within the LGBTQIA+ community and individuals practicing/exploring non-traditional relationships (e.g., ethical non-monogamy, kink)
Did you grow up in a controlling, high-demand religious environment? The adverse experiences in this type of setting can lead to feeling like you don't know who you are or what you believe. You may feel torn apart, like there are multiple versions of you in different settings. This can affect the way you treat romantic partners, coworkers, and authority figures. You may also feel conflicted about your identity, your sexuality, and even your body.
Feeling disconnected from your partner? Stuck in the same frustrating arguments? I understand the pain of losing that closeness and the struggle to break free from negative cycles. You deserve a relationship where trust, communication, and intimacy are strong. Using evidence-based approaches like Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, I’ll help you break these patterns and rebuild your bond. Together, we can create lasting change and foster the deeper connection and fulfillment you’re seeking.

If you're someone who's feeling lonely, depressed, and lost and confused about who you are. You may be at a crossroads of knowing some or all of your identities but unsure how they all fit. I get it, and my therapy is centered around you and your lived experience. I want you to know that there is hope for you, you are not alone and together we can make helpful changes and work towards your best self. The highest compliment a client can give me is "you get me"
I specialize in supporting individuals in their grief (the loss of a child/loved one, loss of a part of themselves), parents/caregivers navigating the profound challenges of a child's cancer diagnosis or chronic illness, supporting healthcare workers with moral distress in their work, managing stress, anxiety, and depression.
On the outside, it seems like everything is in place, but underneath, anxiety has been a constant companion. Juggling college or starting your career, navigating relationships, & handling the pressures of young adulthood can feel like an uphill battle. You're caught between striving for success & feeling overwhelmed by the weight of expectations. Balancing it all seems like an unreachable goal. Yet, in the midst of this chaos, you recognize the need for change.
I work with adults with depression, anxiety, managing neurodivergency, and unlearning of colonized mindsets. I especially love working with clients on developing healthier relationships with their partners, family, friends, and in the workplace. I also work with children, teens and families regarding school aged issues and a side of parenting coaching and mental health psychoeducation.
I work with individual adults who are looking to shift patterns in their lives. We typically focus on understanding what their problems are trying to communicate and work towards better ways of honoring those needs. Most folks that find me are struggling with depression, anxiety, PTSD or unwanted relationship issues but I have training across a variety of diagnosis.

I help clients who are dealing with many different issues, including anxiety, family-of-origin issues, couples/relationship issues, & depression. I specialize in alternative lifestyles. My passion is helping clients from any or all of the following groups: geeky, LGBTQIA+, BDSM/kinky, polyamorous/non-monogamous, alternative spiritualities and/or atheists. If you’re searching for an effective and caring therapist who can understand your unique situation, you’ve come to the right person.
Whether you are finding yourself repeating a pattern that you'd like to change, feeling overwhelmed or out of control, or simply looking for a place of support, therapy is a place where you can grow an authentic connection with yourself and others. I see adults and adolescents (+13) who are struggling with a range of concerns, including identity, relationships, communication, and the impacts of trauma, grief, and shame. I treat mood disorders, depression, anxiety, and panic.
ALL bodies are good bodies. But we don’t get to this place of body acceptance overnight. Right now you may be tired of feeling uncomfortable in your own skin. You compare your body to others, and your sense of confidence feels hopelessly tied up in your body dissatisfaction. This struggle against your body’s shape, size, or appearance is controlling your life, taking up mental energy, and is freakin’ lonely. And you’re beginning to fear your body anxiety is actually getting worse, not better.
You were raised by perfectionistic, critical and well meaning Asian Immigrant parents, who praised your achievements and shamed you for your mistakes. You learn at an early age that getting achievements gives you a sense of security and validation, but it is short lived because the pressure is never ending. You earn top grades, get into a prestigious university and a high earning job, but find that it is extremely difficult to slow down and listen to your body.
