I work with individuals and couples, especially those who identify as BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and neurodivergent, as well as anyone facing challenges with anxiety, depression, communication, life transitions, and more. Working as a postpartum doula for a decade has allowed me to work with couples and see first-hand the various dynamics present in marital, parental, and familial relationships. Therapy is all about bridging the gap between where you are now and where you want to be.

There is hope for your happiness and wellbeing. I will help you tap into your inner strength and together, we will take steps towards what you truly desire.
I specialize in working with adults and older adults who are experiencing depression, anxiety, and/or going through life transitions - whether that's career, relationship, or restarting your life. Having worked in the healthcare setting, I am well versed in working with healthcare professionals navigating burnout. I enjoy working with individuals within the LGBTQIA+ community and individuals practicing/exploring non-traditional relationships (e.g., ethical non-monogamy, kink)
I work with individuals and families ages 12 and up. I have experience supporting gender diverse and queer people of all ages in their transitions and as they navigate family dynamics and reckon with the effects of oppression. Anxiety and Depression are logical responses to bullying and systemic oppression, but I love helping people develop alternate, more preferred responses. It is a delight to support you in reclaiming power and joy as you move more fully into your authentic self.
You are here because you're looking for help - stress, anxiety, depression, life's transitions, or just a final attempt to “make it better.” I am here to sit with you, hear your story, and look at what is weighing you down. While I work best with those who lead with openness, curiosity and a true desire for personal growth, I also recognize folx show up in different places in life's emotional experience. Therapy is a journey back to a place of hope and belonging, and it is my honor to join you.
Being human is often tough. Sometimes we lose our way and can feel stuck and overwhelmed. Sometimes we would like to change parts of our lives or ourselves but don’t know how. Therapy can be an empowering way to promote healing, growth, and wellness. Often, we initially seek treatment to address a specific concern and then begin to uncover other areas of our lives in which we want to make meaningful change. My goal is for this process to feel supportive, affirming, and appropriately challenging.

On the outside, it seems like everything is in place, but underneath, anxiety has been a constant companion. Juggling college or starting your career, navigating relationships, & handling the pressures of young adulthood can feel like an uphill battle. You're caught between striving for success & feeling overwhelmed by the weight of expectations. Balancing it all seems like an unreachable goal. Yet, in the midst of this chaos, you recognize the need for change.
The lingering effects of trauma can show up in many forms. Perhaps you suffer symptoms of perfectionism, burnout, anxiety or depression. Or you find yourself repeatedly returning to unhealthy relationships with substances or people. Despite your very best efforts you relive the same patterns over and over. Our work together will offer a slow, gentle narrative- and body-focused approach to understanding these patterns and discovering a softer, easier way.
I work with adults with depression, anxiety, managing neurodivergency, and unlearning of colonized mindsets. I especially love working with clients on developing healthier relationships with their partners, family, friends, and in the workplace. I also work with children, teens and families regarding school aged issues and a side of parenting coaching and mental health psychoeducation.
When you are ready to take the first steps in making changes or if you are wanting to deepen your healing journey, a supportive guide can make all the difference. Shed layers of who you are no longer to get to your authentic self. Feel safe in your body. Feel more connected. Have your story witnessed. Space to grieve. Learn how to feel your feelings. Find what truly brings you joy. I help women working through depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, transitions, and relationship struggles.

You deserve to be a priority in your own life. Most of my clients have a history of surviving trauma, neglect, and relational harm; this can lead to becoming stuck in survival mode which often times conflicts with living mode. I work primarily with neurodivergent and LGBTQIA2S folks who are ready to approach their struggles in a new way. We can work together to restore your sense of self and your ability to direct your life on your terms to achieve your goals!
My clients often come to me feeling burned out and overwhelmed, trying to cope with relationship issues and past trauma such as abuse, and dealing with anxiety, self-esteem and confidence issues. They are exhausted and feeling like they can't find a way out of the constant spiral. The holistic, client centered techniques I use help guide my clients to reduce stress and help them to finally heal from those past hurts, so they can finally have peace, joy, and harmony in their life.
I believe that we each have a unique story and as humans we are capable of holding many conflicting truths. We can love our lives and still experience anxiety and overwhelm from the responsibility of it all. I am here to listen and collaborate, with empathy and without judgment. Together, we can explore how therapy can help you develop deeper understanding and self-compassion, address self-limitations like perfectionism and shame, and discover deeper meaning and purpose from life.
You want to appear confident and like you have it all together, but deep down you are struggling to get it all done and stay connected to the present moment. You may be fed up with the constant battle of proving yourself, feeling anxious you are missing something, or preoccupied with pleasing others. You might not even remember a time things didn’t feel this way. But one thing is for sure: you’re ready for some relief. You’re ready to feel joy in this moment. You’re ready to have it all.
I specialize in working with queer and trans people coping with anxiety, depression, and concerns of daily life. I am also polyamory friendly and ready to support people navigating open relationships. I might be a good fit for you! My approach to counseling is collaborative, meaning that I hope to build a relationship with you so that we can tackle your goals together. For trans and GNC clients, I am ready to write a letter of support in a single session.

As an EMDR therapist, I work with people whose parents and caregivers were unable to provide the emotional support and guidance they needed in childhood, even if they were well-intentioned. Ranging from emotional misattunement to outright abuse, these experiences lead to deep-seated (and sometimes unconscious) negative beliefs about oneself and others that precipitate depression, anxiety, unsatisfying careers, disconnected relationships, and difficulty feeling satisfaction and contentment.
In working with individuals, I use attachment, systemic, and trauma informed approaches. If you are an individual struggling with chronic stress, codependency, perfectionism, or difficulty establishing an authentic sense of self, these symptoms can often be the result of current or past relationship dynamics that can be addressed and changed. I have training in both Gottman and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy models in working with couples on issues from infidelity to communication issues.
My goal is to help you learn how to develop ways to change your thinking patterns, find solutions and begin to feel happier. My areas of specialities include: anxiety, depression, postpartum depression, divorce, infidelity, life transitions, grief/loss, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness and EMDR. I am a certified divorce coach and can help you make informed decisions around your relationships. I also provide support to clients experiencing a cancer diagnosis.
I work with adults and youth for individual therapy and group therapy and also offer child and family therapy. Teaching clients present centered awareness and radical action with acceptance is my jam. Clients have used words to describe me/our sessions like: Empowerment, Calm, Motivated, Centered, Funny, Challenging, Transformative, Supported, Connected, Insight, Natural, Empathetic, Insightful, Resourceful, Healing, Knowledgeable, Understanding, Caring, Aware
