About My Clients
I am passionate about working with clients with diverse racial, spiritual, gender, and sexuality backgrounds handling anxiety, depression, trauma, and burnout. Together, we learn about the mind, body, and the various parts of ourselves that come up as we navigate life’s stressors and transition. We explore the meaningful ways you want to engage with yourself and others.
My Background and Approach
I utilize IFS, ACT, trauma-focused, person-centered, strength-based, existential, and narrative practices to create genuine connections. I provide clients a nonjudgmental space to explore themselves through mindfulness/breathwork, media, activities, knowledge, creativity, and a caring ear to listen and foster empowerment over one’s life. I believe through collaboration, we learn to recognize problematic dynamics and limiting mindsets that prevent one from becoming more fulfilled. With 5+ years of experience, I have worked in a school setting and in private practice supporting clients individually and within groups. I have worked with clients to explore their identity, sexuality, strengths, self-esteem, environmental stressors, and interpersonal relationships, helping them to develop healthy boundaries and coping skills to use throughout their life’s many transitions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a teen, I found it difficult to belong and struggled with identity, intergenerational trauma, being enough, and people pleasing. Through my own journey, I have learned my values, strengths, and purpose. This informs how I advocate against prejudice and lead with curiosity and understanding of people's lived experiences. While I am still learning more about myself, I am called to support and show up for others. Personally, I value time with friends, family, playing soccer, reading, watching tv (specifically comedies), anime, and video games.
